Ossett received their trophy for winning the Second X1 Premier Division and then celebrated by blowing away Altofts in an 8 wicket win. Altofts 10 players were shot out for just 35 runs with only Jaymes Hollingsworth (15*) reaching double figures. Doing the damage for Ossett were Dale Winterbottom (4-9), Nohman Hussain (3-18) and Conor Andrews (2-1). Dane Winterbottom (24*) and Richard Fenwick (10*) led the Ossett reply that knocked off the runs for the loss of 2 wickets.
Runners up Wakefield Thornes finished their campaign with a 7 wicket win over Wakefield St Michaels. David Atkinson was St Michael's top scorer with 69 as they posted 159 all out. Robert Stephenson (5-24) and Josh Hudson-Evans (4-26) were in excellent form with the ball for Thornes. After a shaky start to their reply Thornes settled down thanks to Andy Holmes (64*) and another in their production line of promising juniors, Liam Webb (60*).
Abandoned games were Wrenthorpe v East Ardsley, Birstall v Methley and Buttershaw St Pauls v Carlton. No result or scorecard has been received, at the time of writing, from Mirfield Parish v Batley. With Buttershaw on 30 points and Parish on 29, the bottom spot can't be confirmed until the missing result arrives.
