 NOTICE TO ALL CLUBS
JACK HAMPSHIRE, BARRY WINSTANLEY & WHEATLEY CUP COMPETITIONS. Following yesterdays washout, the following arrangements will now apply to postponed ties. Barry Winstanley and Wheatley Cup ties must be completed before the 29th June on a date to be agreed between the competing Clubs. The semi finals of these competitions remain scheduled for the 29th June.
With regard to the Jack Hampshire Trophy, we are mindful of our healthy representation in the Heavy Woollen Cup. Accordingly the semi finals of the Jack Hampshire Trophy have been rescheduled for 6th July, therefore, the quarter final ties must be completed by this date. Once again, we are looking for Clubs to agree a date for the postponed ties Where Clubs are unable to agree a date for the postponed ties, the CYCL Management will impose a date on which the ties are to be played.
Clubs must contact our Fixture Secretary, David Clegg, on, or before the 4th June confirming a date for their ties, along with arrangements to be made with Kenny Kingsbury for the appointment of umpires. If this procedure is not carried out then if no Umpires turn up you can only blame the Clubs concerned.
We are at the mercy of the weather, therefore, we would recommend that Clubs arrange to play their postponed ties, sooner, rather than later, if they wish to avoid playing their games over a midweek evening. |
