Communication
At present all our minutes are sent out by email, with a few exceptions, and published on the website. It appears that some clubs have not received the minutes which I find perplexing, as I am the poor sod sending them out. For this month only, I am sending out the attached minutes by post. Can you please confirm the email address to use for sending minutes to your club, if you have had problems in this area.
Annual Dinner
The above event will be held at Cedar Court Hotel in Bradford on Friday 9th November. Details and Booking Form are on Pages 114 and 115 of the Handbook and a minimum of 6 places are required from each club. Could I please ask you to complete and return the booking forms to Geoff Parkes by 12th October 2007 in order that we can complete our seating arrangements with the hotel.
Averages
Could clubs please ensure that they provide Andy Haley with batting and bowling averages for their 1st and 2nd XI`s, together with the respective Wicket Keeper`s figures, by 30th September. In addition, please clearly indicate which of your players listed were 21 or under on August 31st 2006, in order that they can be considered for a Junior Award.
Ground Nominations
We are looking for clubs to host the Jack Hampshire Trophy and Wheatley Cup Finals, together with the finals of the Yorkshire Council Senior and Supplementary Competitions. Can interested Clubs apply in writing to Andy Haley, as soon as possible.
CYCL Umpires Training Course
The above course will be held on 3rd November 2007, could any Clubs who have not yet nominated delegates, please do so without delay.
